From looking at my different research into children's wear, as well as chatting with young girls within my age category, I have decided that I would like to look mainly into casual day-to-day clothing that can be worn time and again, and matched with many other items, instead of formal wear, as I feel girls in this age group would require formal wear far less, and I think it would challenge me far less to design formal garments.
I think that doing practical, everyday winter wear would mean that I can include many of the elements of children's fashion that I have noticed within my research, such as layering, and mixing of textures etc.
